Job Type:  Part-time
Pay Rate: $17.60 per hour

As a Part-Time Engraver & Sales Associate, you'll play an important role in creating a welcoming shopping experience for every customer. You'll assist customers with personalized engraving requests using our 8080 Signature Engraver, helping transform gifts into treasured keepsakes. In addition to engraving, you'll help customers select thoughtful gifts and greeting cards, maintain attractive merchandise displays, support seasonal promotions, and ensure every visit to Hallmark Conestoga Mall is memorable.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers with a friendly, professional attitude.

• Operate the 8080 Signature Engraver to create personalized gifts with accuracy and attention to detail.

• Consult with customers to ensure engraving requests are accurate and meet their expectations.

• Help customers find the perfect greeting cards, gifts, ornaments, and seasonal products.

• Provide product recommendations based on customers' needs and special occasions.

• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked sales floor.

• Replenish merchandise and assist with inventory as required.

• Create attractive merchandise displays and maintain Hallmark merchandising standards.

• Support seasonal promotions and new product launches.

• Work independently when required while contributing to a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of customer service or retail experience.

• Friendly, approachable, and passionate about providing outstanding customer service.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, particularly when completing personalized engraving requests.

• Comfortable working independently and taking initiative.

• Reliable, dependable, and detail-oriented.

• Ability to climb a ladder and lift 25 lbs.

• Previous experience operating an 8080 Signature Engraver is an asset, but not required. Training will be provided to the right candidate.

• Previous merchandising or display experience is considered an asset.

Schedule

• Part-time hours.

• 4 to 8-hour shifts.

• Day, evening, morning, and weekend availability is required.

• Flexible availability is considered an asset.
